Let’s face it, if you’ve got a tonneau cover on your truck that only opens one way, chances are you get a bit frustrated when you can’t reach items directly behind the bulkhead of your cab.  With the Diamondback Truck Cover, that problem is eliminated because the cover has 2 separate panels that open from the center of the bed, at the center piece, which is secured with 2 non-permanent c-clamps on each side.

You may say, well, I can use the rolling cover.  Ok, that’s cool, but when you want to stack 500-1600 lbs or more on top of your truck and utilize the cargo space of your bed more efficiently or head to the desert with a couple quads on your truck while you use your trailer for the boat, good luck with a roll cover or any other cover for that matter.

Compact Size Pac Mule does well in Tough Times

Tuesday, October 7th, 2008

Since the stock market plummeted and the economy has continued to look bleak, a ton of people, small truck enthusiasts especially, have called asking, and purchasing, the Medium Pac Mule for small to medium size pickup trucks.

The Medium Pac Mule by Graham Solutions and Bully Truck is the ultimate solution to small pickup truck cargo management, and saving money!!.  The nice thing about Pac Mule is that the whole unit weighs less than 10 pounds and can be easily installed and removed within seconds from the bed of your pickup.

And if you buy now, the price is only $89.99 AND you get FREE replacement parts for life!!  The adjustable end pieces for the rods will last for years, but if exposed to the elements in an open bed truck, will most likely need to be replaced after about 2 years.

People are realizing that tool boxes, bed extenders and the like, great products mind you, are just too expensive and difficult to deal with and are usually permanently or semi-permanently attached to the truck bed, especially when you’re dealing with the organization of small cargo and groceries.

With Pac Mule, it’s in less than 30 seconds, out in less than 10, and can just be collapsed and tossed either in the garage or behind the seats.  And it requires absolutely no drilling or gluing of any kind, only pressure.  If it gets dirty, just toss it in the washing machine and when you take it out, hang it up and when it dries, it looks as good as new!!

Pac Mule is also easily mounted either at the bulkhead near the cab or at the tailgate.  Use it as a cargo bar, a cargo net, a cargo holder or a truck tool holder.

It’s the light, tough, great looking, versatile and best value for the price new product for small cargo that will save you a ton of money in medical bills over the long run!!

Interested?  Got questions?  Give us a buzz today to find out more!

How Pac Mule Cargo Net for Pickups Got Started

Monday, October 6th, 2008

It was back in 1995 and I traveled to the grocery store and the auto supply store in Redwood City, California. I was actually driving a convertible Volkswagen rabbit, orange and black. I lived on Whipple. It was only about 5 or 6 miles round trip and took about 2 hours, I was taking my time.

I went to Safeway, then to Kragen Auto, and had about 10 grocery bags or so, some of them sitting on the front seat and rear seats and floor of passenger area. Of course when I got back to the newly paved driveway of my apartment complex, I stopped directly in front of the first apartment which was mine, instead of parking in the back.

I started to unload the groceries, walked over to the passenger side door, opened it up, and a jar of Best Foods Mayonnaise dropped out onto Bob’s, my WWII Vet Landlord’s newly paved, perfectly black smooth driveway. It was just my luck that Bob was driving his mint Chevy pickup in to collect someone’s late rent. Of course he saw what happened as I was picking up the glass off his new driveway.

Bob and I always got along. He would tell me stories about getting ambushed in the war. At any rate that day Bob was pissed at me and I felt kinda bad about it, so I started drawing (see image above) a cargo net suspended by short poles for the rear of the rabbit.

The idea lay dormant for 6 years, when watching a Padres game on TV while living in an apartment in San Diego, I got bored. I took out my original drawings and started adapting my original design for the rabbit with the pickup truck I had parked in my driveway downstairs. Subsequently, the CargoCatch, a.k.a. Bully Pac Mule Cargo Holder for pickup trucks was born.

More to come re: the history of Pac Mule Cargo Holder in this category.
