We get a lot of calls these days about the Sprinter Van cargo nets, especially the hi-top, whether it be Mercedes Sprinter, Dodge Sprinter or Ford Transit. Whatever it be, we have over 30 different designs for these vehicles alone and many more being designed as we speak. We’ll custom make one for you based on your specifications, or we’ll design one for you if you give us basic measurements. We probably already have a design that will work perfectly with your application. After providing us with your specifications, we’ll send you a drawing, you make any changes you want to make, and once that process is complete, we’ll make the net.
Today we’d like to concentrate on the Mercedes Sprinter and Dodge Sprinter hi-top version cargo nets. For this vehicle, we have about 10 designs, all of these attaching at the top vertically as well as the sides and bottom horizontally. This vehicle, depending on where you measure from, has measurements of approximately 77″ in height, 72″ in width.
You may ask, why is the net only 49″ at the bottom when you have 72″ in width? Well, the answer is simple. Depending on what hardware you’re using, where you’re using it, etc…and whether or not you’re using a track system of some kind, this is the biggest net that we’ve made for this particular vehicle. Anything bigger we’ve found, you may not be able to cinch it down as tight as you might like.
If you however have a certain type of mounting system that you use, like an L or E-track system, depending on the hardware it accepts, we may be able to make you a slightly bigger net using different hardware such as a flat hook on the L-track, where we would make a 2-piece net and you’d cinch it down in the middle to get more surface area covered.
