5 Reasons to buy a CargoCatch Pickup Truck Bed Organizer over a Toolbox or a Cargo Net

Let’s face it, if you put a toolbox in your pickup truck, you better be doing construction or something similar.  If all you do is stash stuff in it or use it for the occasional grocery bag or two, you’re wasting time and money and honestly you come off looking like an idiot.  You would have been much better off installing a nice looking cover which will naturally streamline the air that goes over the vehicle anyway, thus saving you money on gas, as opposed to an open bed truck with the toolbox and the tailgate closed, trapping air and causing drag.  Putting some style on top of your bed namely a folding cover of some sort, which usually ensures not only security, but enables one to use less effort when accessing the bed, and adding a CargoCatch Pickup Truck Bed Cargo Management System under that cover, is the run of the mill dude’s, who’s not a construction worker or a guy that carries a lot of tools, ultimate solution.  Here are 5 good reasons to purchase a cargocatch over a toolbox or a cargo net.

  1. the cargocatch is somewhat of a cargo net that’s a toolbox, or vice-versa, it’s a toolbox that’s a cargo net.
  2. this toolbox cargo net weighs less than 10 lbs.
  3. is not permanently mounted in your truck bed, unless you want it to be.
  4. can be mounted away from the cab or tailgate in order to utilize not only its space but that care that you created by moving it away, wand when full will double your cargo space.
  5. is mountable anywhere in the bed and can be mounted up on the rail or underneath the rail, depending on your cover and/or mounting preferences.

Some might ask if the cargocatch can be mounted either on the inside of the rail or under the rail.  The answer is yes.  You would not believe what some guys have done to their trucks in order to accommodate the cargocatch depending on their specific application.  But in general, if you have a cover and you can’t access the rail when the cover is closed for whatever reason, be it the mounting hardware of the cover, the gas shocks or what not, you can easily simply extend out the bars a few clicks and mount it under the rail, as long as you have a hard flat surface to mount it on.  If you’re worried about the bars falling or slipping because you can’t get it cranked down tight enough, which rarely happens, you can always go to a hardware store and buy some sticky back Velcro or sticky back rubber, cut it into squares and mount it slightly under the rod where you normally would mount it in your truck bed.

toolbox cargo net

Well that’s enough about the cargocatch for now.  This tool is the best replacement for a toolbox when you don’t really need one, and it’s the best alternative to a cargo net for a truck, when you need to use it for more than just a cargo net, you need organization and flexibility.
