The Vehicle Dog Bowl that Does Not SplashSunday, May 30th, 2010My dog Duke drinks a ton of water. When we head out for a road trip, I always put a small bowl in the cab of my truck on a towel so he’ll have a drink if he wants it. I usually fill the bowl up with ice and then fill it with water about three quarters of the way up. The ice keeps the water from spilling, most of the time. But sometimes we’ll hit a bump in the road or go onto a dirt trail, and the ice just doesn’t cut it. Now, I don’t have to worry about this anymore. This new dog bowl for vehicles is worth mentioning. Especially made for travel, the WaterBoy is designed specifically not to splash or spill. It’s unique design keeps water in and keeps it from spilling out. Reason for this is that it keeps the water level down inside the bowl and water base. Holds up to 3 quarts and is small enough so that it only uses a small area of the cab or back seat. No towel or ice needed, but I still put ice in there because dogs normally drink more water if it’s really cold. So do I! Got a question or want to buy a bunch of these for your retail store? Just give us a call or email us and we’ll quote you. Happy Trails!! see this product here: http://www.cargocatch.com/dog-water-bowl.html?&cat=164
New Pickup Truck Cargo Website – www.cargocatch.comSaturday, May 8th, 2010After a ton of requests and the simple demand for a better site, the need for fewer customer clicks to reach their product destination and the fact that we finally found a web development company we can count on and trust, Graham Solutions has just released their new skin for www.cargocatch.com, a truck and auto accessory monster that is growing by the day. Created by Bill Graham and designed by ASF Design of Canada, we are very proud of our new site. Though we have not created our new blog design yet which will enable customers to read about new truck accessory products and services we offer, we have launched the new “skin”, including all new products for truck cargo accessories and related vehicle products and services. Not only do our customers now know that we sell truck accessories, as opposed to before when you didn’t know what the heck we did because our company is so diverse, they now can easily reach the products they’re looking for in fewer clicks, as well as view multiple detailed images of products, and video of many of the products we feature at the bottom of the product detail page. The diversity and evolution of our company has lead us to this current site. About 10 years ago, Bill Graham developed a cargo management product for pickup trucks call ‘CargoCatch’ to hold groceries and other small cargo items in the rear of his pickup truck bed. This product was originally licensed to Bully Motorsports and offered in 2 sizes as ‘Pac Mule’, but their marketing was short of aggressive, and now is being re-designed by Graham and Load Handler of Chicago, to be released early this summer as ‘CargoCatch’, including a new ‘handcrank’ option for easier mounting. Load Handler is a smaller niche company and has a more aggressive marketing plan for ‘CargoCatch’. Shortly thereafter, Graham began small manufacturing of the product in San Diego, California and Mexico. It was an evolution of grand proportions that he had no idea he would take on, eventually becoming one of the premier internet based resellers of truck cargo nets and other truck accessories, as well as many other accessories for many different types of vehicles including cars, boats, RV’s, SUV’s, ATV’s, Motorcycles and UTV’s. We hope you take the opportunity to visit our new site and check out some of the videos, particularly those of Diamondback ATV products, which are the hottest new truck cover ATV based products available today. Graham Solutions also offers contract sewing services in San Diego, California and Tecate, Mexico for multiple products, as well as the design and manufacture of heavy duty pickup truck cargo nets and more, Made in the USA. In addition, if you’re an inventor, product developer or entrepreneur, we can assist you with business start-up consulting, website development, sampling and prototyping of many products from a variety of industries including auto, aviation, marine, military and government. We look forward to serving you. Call us for a quote on any of our products and services. Graham Solutions Hitch-Safe Combo Lock Security for your VehicleSaturday, March 27th, 2010
Well, now that the Obama administration and Congress have pushed this ridiculous health care bill through, we have a lot more to worry about, as far as our health and security are concerned, to sustain ourselves in this very quickly becoming Socialist, or worse, society we call the ‘Home of the Brave’. With a rule book a foot thick and more and more forms to fill out on a daily basis, it’s time you secure your personal belongings, as minimal as they’ve become. Everybody I know is about to throw in the towel and set up shop in their truck or RV, OR, move out of the country all together. Camp grounds will be overrun with US citizens AND illegal aliens, literally living in or on their trucks, cars, SUV’s, UTV’s, RV’s and ATV’s. We are very quickly becoming a landscape that will be scarily similar to the film ‘Mad Max’. People will be fiercely competing for automobile based resources and fighting for space at the campgrounds in the so-called ‘Land of the Free’. What do you think will be important for many of these people? You got it, SECURITY and more security! They’ll be buying, more than ever, products to protect and secure their families, keys, cash and other belongings. And where will they turn? You got it, the automotive industry and the internet. Sure, the price of gas might keep going up, but people will keep buying and stocking up on fuel and products which will ensure their security and ability to move around safely and securely without the worry of getting ripped off. One product that we see sales skyrocketing for is the Hitch-Safe Combination Lock for your vehicle’s hitch receiver.
The HitchSafe Combo Lock by Hitch Safe, is the safest, easiest, stress free and smartest way to secure your keys, cash, engagement ring, key to your beer vault or whatever else you’ve got in mind to secure in your truck back at base camp, without having to worry about someone else holding on to your keys and ripping off the last of your stash. Bottom line, whatever your strategy, your Hitchsafe combo lock is the safest way to secure it all…once and for all. Why StowRight? A few years back, with both of us working and raising our two kids, we were always too busy to cook, even just one meal a day. I stopped by different restaurants on the way home from work to pick up different foods-to-go. A lot of these packages tumbled and spilled along the way. Asian foods were the worst, with a lot of sauces and liquids, they often made a mess. On occasion, I bought flower arrangements for my wife and have to drive home with the vase in between my legs. I looked and could not find any cargo organizer on the market that would allow me to adjust to different sizes of cargo. Being an engineer, my frustration pushed me to come up with a solution. My first thought was 2 adjustable rods, which could compartmentalize and secure different sizes of cargo. Several concepts were evaluated and a few different prototypes were made. I originally designed a rail system on the box walls, in which a cam at the end of the rods can be rotated and locked. Vibration spelled the end of this concept. So I settled with spring loaded rods, which somehow would snap and secure themselves to the container walls. The next obvious challenge was to make the package collapsible to take less space, when not in use. Different potential solutions were visualized and rehearsed over and over in my head over the following months. I was jogging one day, and came up with a connected wall system, which can fold flat on itself. Then the idea of a leak proof case to serve as the bottom of the container completed the concept. The last few pieces of the puzzle such as a telescoping rod end, how the rods can snap securely into the wall, how the wall assembly and the case could be secured together, etc. Slowly, Stowright emerged. A prototype was made and evaluated by the members of the Orange County Inventor Forum. I passed out a 10 question survey to get their feedback. Everyone thought it was a great concept with good potential for many other applications. What can StowRight do? An ABS cargo organizer in a form of a self contained brief case 3.0 inches thick. In less than 10 seconds, one can easily pop it into a 24” x 24” x 11” leak proof organizer. StowRight was designed to handle 6 paper grocery bags. We found that it can also secure 4 five-gallon buckets or 10 one-gallon paint cans. Each StowRight unit comes with 2 telescoping rods, which can secure cargo of all different sizes. I have customers who use it to secure small tanks of propane, a gas can, a single bag of groceries, books from the library, plants/flower pods, a large water melon, etc… The case serves as a leak proof bottom, which holds up to 3.5 gallons. My neighbor found this feature particularly useful saving her new Mercedes trunk from a spill from a brand new bottle of Windex. Unfortunately, my other neighbor did not use StowRight to secure his 10 one-gallon paint cans from Home Depot. Three out of the 10 cans spilled on the way home and completely ruined the back of his SUV. He is still negotiating with Home Depot to pay for the damage. I wished him luck. Having a sturdy, durable, and leak proof trunk organizer can come in very handy on many occasions, a trip to the market, home improvement center, picnic at the beach, even to pick-a-part auto salvage place. This thing would secure all your precious cargo, beer, wine, liquor and would haul your trash, and junk back. It works great with dirty ski boots, muddy soccer shoes, and sandy bathing suits. I forget Stowright at home on a few occasions, and realize when I need it, I really need it!!
