You’ll see trucks driving down the freeway, or parked on the side of the road, with a complete mess in the bed of their truck, typically ropes or bungee cords all tangled up. You take a second look, and say to yourself “What a mess”. Not only did we experience this ourselves with our Toyota Tundra, we decided to do something about it. Some other companies sell cheap similar designs that just don’t hold up under pressure. They use 3M tape or you can drill holes in your truck. There had to be a better solution.
So, one day while watching a San Diego Padres game in his apartment in San Diego, Bill Graham started sketching a design that would ultimately become a reality. He started off at good old Home Depot, purchased some grommets and a couple of adjustable shower rods and off he went back home. He noticed the top rails of the truck bed were rarely used for anything and ended up designing a new sort of technology using UHMWPE (Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene) tooled properly in conjunction with a heavy duty carriage bolt and a fat wingnut and hard rubber end piece that grabs the side rail under pressure.
Several months later, after about 20 prototypes, Bill worked with Wayne Lundberg of the SBDITC (Small Business Development & International Trade Center), a retired engineer who loved to tweak stuff in his shop and the two of them came up with the “Leveling Screw Jack”, now used with the CargoCatch to stabilize the rods on the truck’s rail on either side.
CargoCatch is now under new license with a smaller niche company out of Libertyville, IL named Load Handler who also specializes in cargo management for pickup trucks. Load Handler and Graham are currently working with Chinese engineers to change the design slightly and late summer the unit will be available for full size pick up trucks only with bed widths of 62″ or greater.

We receive these product suggestions and others on a regular basis and we try to communicate our thoughts when possible given that our company is a product development company, in various ways.
In short:
1. We only work with inventors/product developers who are interested in selling their products immediately after production via our company or other, and auto industry, especially via internet and other major distribution channels. In cases where inventors/product developers are already working with who would be in any subsequent licensing agreement a “3rd party”, we do not approach these inventors at all specifically because of that relationship which causes issues in the licensing agreements. We have found throughout years of research as product developers ourselves, that in more cases than not, the individual inventors benefit more via selling the products themselves before going to licensing.
2. We do work with inventors who work with us directly, without a 3rd party. This way they hire us for serious automotive product licensing consulting direct from a company already working deeply in the auto aftermarket and selling products in that industry and others.
3. Since we do have interest in ‘automotive products’, we would however be more than willing to market the product on our website www.cargocatch.com and thousands of others immediately through drop-ship network we have, if you have the product in a box, and you’re drop shipping individual pieces from your warehouse. After you’ve got the product in a box, contact us for drop shipping it via internet. As your first dealer or not we will not require you to sign any contract or pay any fee, we make money off selling your product already in a box and if you need marketing or other consulting, including licensing, we have all the contacts in the industry related to cargo management who are looking at new products because we are selling other products of theirs and licensing directly to them some of our products.

Typically, we use 2″ heavy duty webbing that has a breaking strength of 6K lbs and a working load limit of 3K lbs, but we can go a lot higher. As far as hardware is concerned, we can use whatever you want, wherever you want. Your straps don’t necessarily have to be attached to the corners or the sides, they can be coming from inside of the net, so keep that in mind.
We offer free engineering drawings for all nets and will always send you a drawing via email prior to constructing your custom cargo net. And if you don’t like the drawing or would like to make changes, we can edit it for you quickly and send you a final draft until you are satisfied. We don’t even need a drawing from you to get it rollin’. All we need for you to do is speak with one of our engineers, and he or she will walk you through the process and design the net for you. If you’re a truck enthusiast as we are, you’ve probably been wondering…how do I get my quads and my boat to the lake this weekend without having to use my trailer, and Johnny’s truck? Well, we have the answer. It’s the Diamondback ATV Truck Cover. Click on the link above and watch this video, it will simply blow your mind. And if you’re a construction buff, you can always easily remove the ATV accessories and mount a ladder rack and a cab guard to haul your work stuff.
Whether you’ve got a mid-size truck, a full size short bed or a long bed pickup, there’s a Diamondback Truck Tonneau Cover to fit your needs. It’s not really a traditional tonneau cover as you would imagine a tonneau cover, and it’s not really a tonneau cover at all, it’s a folding truck cover that uses a stable center piece to hold to panels, front and rear, one opening from the bulkhead or near the cab, and the other opening from the tailgate, both towards the center piece. And there’s no drilling in most cases.
Mounting the Diamondback cover is easy. First thing you do is use C-clamps, two on each side, to mount the center piece. Put on the clamps loosely but tight enough so you can mount the panels. Stand up in the truck with one panel at a time, and at a 90 degree angle shimmy the panel onto the attachment with the pin. Once you get the panel on there, slam that sucker into place. Once you fold the panel down, the pin on the panel attachment will hold it in place, making it impossible for the panel to come loose. Repeat this action for the second panel, and once you get both panels on, get down off the truck, check 360 degrees around the rails, make sure it’s all lined up the way you want it, and crank down those C-clamps nice and tight. Next thing you want to do is adjust the locking rods to make sure you get a nice tight fit. Basically what you want is for the black rubber piece on the end of the rod to hit the bottom of the rail and stop. Once the panel is closed and you find the right setting, you should have to crank the panel knob to get it to close, it shouldn’t be easy because you want that locking rod to be forced under the rail with your strength, and once you force it under the rail, it will pull the panel down, forcing the rubber seal under the perimeter of the rail to seal the bed, protecting it from moving during driving and from water entering the bed.
Once you’ve completed this task, follow basic instructions and mount any accessories that you’ve purchased, either for the ATV package which includes adapter bars, ramps and rails, or a cab guard or ladder rack. Diamondback also offers other accessories such as cargo boxes for under the cover and light bars. And if you need more tie downs, you can always purchase those extra cleats separately and mount them yourself where you want them, just make sure to drill where you’re able to attach the nut on the other side of the aluminum. You should always check under any piece of aluminum you’re drilling into to assure that you’re able to complete the task without issues.

The diversity and evolution of our company has lead us to this current site. About 10 years ago, Bill Graham developed a cargo management product for pickup trucks call ‘CargoCatch’ to hold groceries and other small cargo items in the rear of his pickup truck bed.
