Your Pac Mule Cargo Net is an integral
part of your pickup truck cargo management experience and should be
treated as such. It will last for years if used and maintained properly.
Here are some suggestions when using your Pac Mule Cargo Net. If you
have any questions, please call our Technical Service Department at
(619) 884-8563: |

- Prior to installing your Pac Mule Cargo Net for the first time,
inspect the contents of the box thoroughly and confirm that all
parts are included per your instruction sheet, and make sure that
all hardware is firmly attached or in place on rods and leveling
mounts. If parts are missing, please contact us immediately at 866-402-2824.
- When installing the unit for the first time, pay close attention
to how you adjust the leveling mounts. Ideally have as little of
the carriage bolt showing as possible. This will ensure better overall
stability and will increase stability of the unit. If you have well
over an inch of bolt showing between the edge of the rubber tip
and the end of the wing nut, you may want to adjust the pushpin
assembly on the rod to extend the inner pipe out another inch and
bring the wing nut back against the rubber tip to increase stability.
- If you remove the
Pac Mule Cargo Net from your truck bed on a regular basis, the rubber
tips on both ends of the rods may wear out over time. If you need
replacement mounts or rubber tips or any other hardware, they are
available for purchase at www.cargocatch.com or you can call and
order direct at 866-40-CATCH (22824).
- Where you install the rod ends is important. Every truck is different
and the size of your lip/rail may vary in height depending on the
type of truck that you have. If installing on a small rail, be sure
to place the rubber tip just slightly above the top of the rail
to ensure proper weight disbursement on the side of the truck. It
will also help ensure that the unit stays in place properly. If
you use a tool to crank down the wing nut, you may damage your truck.
Thats how strong our rods are! Hand cranking the wing nut
is the best option.
- Keep things from flying out of the
Pac Mule Cargo Net with a cargo net available for purchase here.
This bungee net with adjustable hooks quickly and easily attaches
to any size Pac Mule Cargo Net.
- If youre concerned about theft,
simple cable locks can be used through the holes in the support rods
in conjunction with the tie downs inside your bed.
- Keep an eye on your pushpin assembly for adjusting the rod. If
it becomes bent or you think its going to break, please contact
us and well send you another one. They are extremely strong
and not likely to break unless you manipulate the wingnut with a
tool.
