It’s 2015 and Graham Custom Truck Accessories, LLC just this year has celebrated it’s 10-year anniversary with SEMA (Specialty Equipment Market Association) and designing, manufacturing, marketing and selling custom pickup truck cargo management accessories and more. I remember like it was yesterday flying to Indianapolis to show our first product to enter the marketplace, ‘CargoCatch‘.
We were so pumped up with adrenaline it would have made your head spin just looking at us, we were young, green and loaded with excitement to make a change to the automotive aftermarket on our own. Bill Graham, his brother Rick, and our friend Scott Giannotti, all flew to the SEMA Spring Show at the Convention Center there. It went by so fast, but we got the word out and did the leg work and here we are 10 years later celebrating. Now there are about 7 of us given the time of year, and let me tell you, it hasn’t been easy.
We really started selling CargoCatches in 2005 after R&D, tooling, prototyping and sampling. Before that I broke a jar of Best Foods Mayonniase in the driveway because it dropped out of my truck bed after rolling around all over the place and my opening the tailgate. After that I sold my first CargoCatch to my neighbor who’d been begging me for months for one for is wife’s truck so she wouldn’t have to deal with the pain of chasing things around her truck bed. From there on as they say “The Rest is History”.
CargoCatch is a pickup truck bed organizer that weighs less than 10 pounds. It consists of 2 heavy duty adjustable aluminum cargo bars that hold a netted partitioned bag this is very sturdy. The rods mount either on or under your truck bed rail, and are not permanently installed, they simply use friction to stay in place.
We used to build here in the USA a tank version of the CargoCatch that came in 3 sizes, one for mini trucks with rails less than 54″ width, but there was not really a market for those really small beds. Currently the CargoCatch comes in 2 sizes, medium from 54-62″ from rail to rail (medium size trucks include the Toyota Tundra, and the Tundra Double Cab takes a large, while the Tundra Access Cab takes the medium in the older years), the large from 62″ and up. If you don’t know what size to buy, simply call us, or, just measure your cab from one side of the rail to the other and it’s 54-62, it’s a medium, and if it’s 62″ and up, it’s a large.
What a decade it’s been for CargoCatch. Now we have literally hundreds of custom cargo restraint devices for you to choose from, primarily cargo nets, but we sell everything even if you don’t see it on the site www.cargocatch.com , and if you don’t see it on the site we may very well be able to help you find someone if we can’t, to make it for you.
